Getting to Lakehead University, Rotary Place and the future Costco development in Orillia's west end, by bike or foot, will soon be a lot easier and safer. Ontario Transportation Minister Steven Del Duca was in Orillia Tuesday to announce $450,000 in funding for three area municipalities, including $325,000 for a bicycle and pedestrian trail over Highway 11, connecting Highway 12 and Old Barrie Road, in Orillia.
