Essex County moves forward with transportation study

A study on active transportation may not end up sitting on a shelf collecting dust at the Essex County civic centre after all.

Michael is the Director of TransActive Solutions, a company dedicated to assisting Canadian communities become more walkable and bikeable, and otherwise friendly to human-powered modes of travel. He is the former National Active Transportation Coordinator for Go for Green and Executive Director of the Nova Scotia Trails Federation. 

Michael is also an enthusiastic outdoor-person, the author of Hiking Trails of Nova Scotia, Hiking Trails of Cape Breton, and a regular contributor to CBC Ottawa's In Town and Out radio program.
