Thunder Bay - City cuts pose threat to cycling, walking: advocate

A proposed $50,000 cut to Thunder Bay's active transportation budget would leave the department unable to plan potential big projects. "If you want people to change their behaviour, you have to make big improvements to their environment and that does cost a bit of money," said active transportation co-ordinator Adam Krupper, adding that without those big changes, people won't start jumping onto the active transportation bandwagon.
