Pedestrian death renews calls for crossing lights

The City of Montreal is under pressure to install crossing lights at a number of busy intersections following the death of Huguette Bergeron. Bergeron, 77, died after being hit and pinned under a truck as it turned left on a green light at the intersection of Bélanger Street and Châteaubriand Avenue in the Rosemont –​ La Petite-Patrie borough.
