Halifax - $697 pedestrian fine ‘the wrong decision,’ say advocates

A bill that passed third reading in the Nova Scotia legislature Friday contains amendments to the Motor Vehicle Act that will mean pedestrians who don’t yield to motor vehicles that have right of way will be hit with fines of $697.50.
