Calgary - Downtown bike lane designs: What you need to know
For much of the routes, a double white line and green plastic posts will mark the division between two wheels and four. (They’re flimsier than bollards, and cheaper, bicycle co-ordinator Tom Thivener says.) In areas where parking sits between the bike lanes and the car lanes, a small concrete curb will get nailed into the road, similar to the bumpers in outdoor parking lots — except with the same green posts.
