Roundabouts’ design worries Halifax cycling group

The Halifax Cycling Coalition says city hall’s preliminary designs for the North Park Street roundabouts could be dangerous for those tackling the intersections on two wheels. While the group’s chairman said he is happy with some recent policy decisions — the Windsor Street Crosstown Connector bike lane being one of them — he said he was disappointed the redesign of two North Park Street intersections had no lanes dedicated to cyclists.
