Orillia forum focuses on social/economic issues
Tentatively slated to happen at the end of May or early June, the day-long forum will explore myriad topics, from youth unemployment and low rates of post-secondary attendance to food security, affordable housing, and mental illness, “which we cannot deny and shy away from,” Clarke said. “We need to meet these things head on.” The meeting will also touch on broader issues, including development of infrastructure that encourages active living and local environmental conditions.
