The Bike Friendly Business Program recognizes local businesses that have promoted cyclist-friendly shopping by making their stores more accessible to those choosing to ride rather than drive. Criteria for becoming a member of the program include providing a bike rack in a secure, visible occasion, allowing cyclists to fill their water bottles or make emergency calls inside the store and encouraging staff and customers to use their bikes.
