Sudbury pedestrian collisions drop in January

About half the pedestrians observed by Greater Sudbury Police during a safety campaign last month were rewarded for responsible behaviour at intersections. Greater Sudbury officers made about 200 pedestrian contacts during a high-visibility initiative in January focused on educating both motorists and pedestrians about safety and prevention, the police service states in a release.
