Guelph - Delegates want sidewalk on Woodlawn Road put back into capital budget
Removal from the capital budget of a multi-use path for pedestrians and cyclists on Woodlawn Road was top of mind for many of the delegations who spoke to council Wednesday night after staff presented the capital budget. Almost two-third of the delegations spoke about it. Yvette Tendick, of the Guelph Coalition for Active Transportation, called the current path a "goat path" that forces pedestrians onto the busy road at times because the snow makes it impossible for walking.
